Is the Jackson 5 really back?

Jermaine Jackson has resurrected a rumor that's been plaguing the music world floating around for several years, telling Australian media Wednesday night that a Jackson 5 reunion—complete with big-money Jacksons Michael and Janet—is indeed in the works and that the family will tour sometime next year.

Other reports from Michael Jackson's camp is saying he is indeed recording, but only a solo album, with no future prospects of a Jackson 5 reunion.

Whose lieing!? They all need money except Janet and she can't even keep her tour dates straight!!

Victoria Beckham is newest Armani underwear model

Victoria Beckham is the spokeswoman for the new Armani fashion house lingerie line — following in the footsteps of husband David Beckham, who also appeared in the fashion house's underwear campaign.

The company said Friday that Beckham will debut in the spring-summer 2009 advertising campaign of Emporio Armani women's underwear.

Giorgio Armani called the former "Posh Spice" of the Spice Girls a "style icon, a dynamic lady whose influence and recognition will add great excitement" to the ad campaign.

Trains overwhelmed as Phillies fans flock downtown

Thousands of Phillies fans lined up 10 deep along downtown sidewalks and overwhelmed commuter trains hauled thousands more toward Philadelphia as excitement built Friday for the city's first championship parade in 25 years.

The World Series-winning Philadelphia Phillies were expected to be showered with brotherly love and confetti during the 90-minute procession from the heart of the city to the sports complex in South Philadelphia, about 4 miles away.

People wore Phillies gear and brought stepladders to see over the crowds. Toward the end of the parade route, fans climbed onto low storefront roofs to get a better view.

No more BBC for Russell Brand

Russell Brand has quit his BBC radio show after he and fellow performer Jonathan Ross were suspended indefinitely for leaving lewd messages on the voicemail of a 78-year-old actor. Also under threat is the reputation of Britain's state-funded national broadcaster, which allowed Brand's routine to make it to air.

The calls by Brand and Ross to actor Andrew Sachs — best known for playing Spanish waiter Manuel in the 1970s Britcom "Fawlty Towers" — have drawn more than 18,000 complaints. Prime Minister Gordon Brown called the comments "inappropriate and unacceptable."

"I am sorry that I upset Mr. Sachs," Brand, 33, told reporters outside his London home Wednesday. Ross, 47, said he was sorry for his "stupid error of judgment."

Can you really say he quit? I mean he was put on suspension and pretty much knew he was getting the boot anyways!

T.I. is allowed to vote

T.I. originally thought his voting privileges were revoked as a convicted felon, until he researched and learned that under a Georgia law felons are eligible if they're not currently serving probation or a prison sentence.

"It's a relief," said the best-selling rapper, who stood in line for no more than 10 minutes on Wednesday before entering a polling center in suburban Atlanta to vote for the first time in his life.

"This what it is all about, not staying up late and waking up early to vote," he added.

"Now rather than just talking about it, I'm being about it. I'm leading by example, and it makes me feel a lot better."

Marion Jones speaks to Oprah

Disgraced track star Marion Jones says she often thinks she would have won gold medals at the 2000 Sydney Olympics even if she hadn't taken performance-enhancing drugs.

Jones gave her first post-prison interview on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" broadcast Wednesday.

Jones says she made a mistake by lying to prosecutors when they showed her a designer steroid and asked if she'd taken it. She maintains she thought it was flaxseed oil when her coach gave it to her.

She was released last month from a Texas federal prison after completing most of her six-month sentence for lying about steroid use.

Like I reported back in September, it looks like the CW is really going to go ahead with their plans to recreate Melrose Place.

They have garnered a steady semi-success with 90210, which has led them to give some thought into Melrose Place.

The 90210 show is horrible and they are going to mess with Melrose Place. Why don't they do something creative like.....create their own show with a totally new concept!

Trick-or-treaters won't find the light on outside Bruce Springsteen's New Jersey mansion this Halloween.

Springsteen and his wife, Patti Scialfa, say they won't be having their usual elaborate Halloween display featuring masked characters and decorations.

They say too many visitors to their Rumson neighborhood raised concerns for the safety of children and parents.

William Balfour should have been in prison!

Jennifer Hudson's tragedy may never have happened if police and judge would have done their job!

William Balfour was arrested in June for drug charges, which was a parole violation.

Corrections Department spokesman Derek Schnapp said officials who reviewed the cocaine-possession case against William Balfour determined "the evidence that was presented during that time wouldn't have necessarily warranted a violation."

A judge dismissed the charge for lack of probable cause in July, but under the strict rules of the state's parole program, Balfour could have gone back to prison just for the arrest.

Lindsay Lohan has one less law suit

Even though Lindsay Lohan's career is down the crapper, she's managed to garner a bit of luck.

Her "former" bodyguard - who Lohan claims she never even met before, nor hired - has dropped his lawsuit against her, without citing any reasons why.

Probably because he was lieing!

Julia Hudsoon took to her MySpace page to voice how she feels about the tragic loss of a mother, brother and son.

As an update to the case:

Police believe that Balfour went to the Hudson family home Friday and shot through the front door, striking Hudson's brother, Jason. Hudson's mother, Darnell Donerson, came into the living room, screaming, and Balfour shot her as well, sources said. Shell casings were also found in the child's room, but there were no bullet holes or other signs of violence there. Much of the account of what police believe happened that day came from an interview with a girlfriend of Balfour's, sources said.

The sources also said Balfour's girlfriend contradicted his alibi and told police that he was involved in the slayings.

LL COOL J quits on Janet Jackson!

It's official, L.L. Cool J has jumped ship and quit as Janet Jackson's opening act for her "Rock Witchu" tour.

Could this be because he should be no one's opening act...he's not a "newcomer!"

Possible NFL Steroids problem?

Six to eight players are under investigation by the NFL for violating the league's drug policy by taking a weight-loss diuretic that is considered a masking agent for steroids.

The Denver TV station Fox 31 reported last week that six to 10 players had tested positive for Bumetanide, a pill that decreases the amount of water retained in the body by increasing urination. It causes the kidneys to get rid of unneeded water and salt from the body into the urine.

This doesn't sound so bad...

Some possible candidates who are being investigated are New Orleans running back Deuce McAllister, Houston Texan Bryan Pittman, Will Smith of the Saints and Kevin Williams and Pat Williams of the Vikings.

Not that anyone cares anymore, but Z100 in New York is reporting that Shannon has quit Danity Kane.

She says she left because she was tired of all the drama and Diddy. LOL

FBI Confirms Julian to be dead

Jennifer Hudson's nephew has been confirmed dead.

While the body has not been positively identified, FBI Deputy Director John S. Pistole said authorities believe it to be that of Julian King.

The Chicago Tribune is reporting Julian was shot in the head.

This is unbelievably sad. There are no words.

UPDATE: A neighbor who lives a block away from where the SUV was discovered says he remembers seeing the car Saturday and told the police this BUT the cops did not respond. On the other hand, two other neighbors told a Chicago reporter they are sure the SUV was not there on Saturday. If true, it would mean someone other than the suspect, William Balfour, drove it there with the body inside.

UPDATE: The Chicago police are now also confirming the boy is Julian and has informed Jennifer Hudson.

Rumours swirl...Katherine Heigl may leave Grey's!

Craziness is being revived again around the whole Katherine Heigl may be getting the boot off of Grey's Anatomy.

Apparently, Shonda Rhymes has set up a Denny reunion that will set it up so Katherine's character, Izzie, MAY leave by the season's end.

This juicy tidbit has also been confirmed by Michael Ausiello, tv scoop extraorindaire.

OR, this could be Shonda's lame attempt to garner some viewership for the show, since it's ratings have been down.

Who knows...only time will tell! I'd sure tune in just to see Heigl get the boot!

Jennifer Hudson's nephew's body may have been found

The body of a young boy has been found and may be Jennifer Hudson's nephew.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's office and Chicago Police Department sent officials to the scene of a white SUV, which reportedly has a license plate matching the number listed on an Amber Alert issued for Jennifer Hudson's missing nephew, on the city's West Side Monday. Police refused to comment.

Television footage showed police vehicles escorting a flatbed tow truck as it took the SUV away from the scene with the body still inside. The car has been seen there for 3 days and was found 14 miles away from the crime scene.

This is absolutely horrible and devastating. We will keep you updated as the story progresses.

UPDATE: 10:46am - There are multiple reports saying news channels in Chicago are confirming it is Julian but this is NOT TRUE. All stations are saying it MAY be him and police are still not confirming anything.

UPDATE: 11:22am - As of Sunday, William Balfour had an alibi to his whereabouts. As of today, Balfour's current girlfriend is NOT corroborating his story.

UPDATE: 1:49pm - In Washington, FBI Deputy Director John S. Pistole said at a news conference that authorities found a body "who we believe to be the missing victim in Chicago, the nephew of Jennifer Hudson. We are working with Chicago police to get a positive identification of the victim."

UPDATE: 2:25pm - Authorities are still not confirming if the body found is Julian, but an autopsy has been scheduled for Tuesday.

T.I. featured in new anti-gun violence movie

Former United Nations ambassador Andrew Young, an advocate for peace around the world, is now taking aim at gun violence in the U.S. through a new TV documentary that focuses on the rapper T.I. — a young man making amends for federal firearms offenses.

Young premiered the hour-long film, "Walking With Guns," on Sunday in Atlanta. It includes extensive footage of the Grammy-winning artist visiting a rehabilitation hospital in New York to meet patients paralyzed by gang violence. The film also shows T.I. and Young telling young people how to avoid violence, and follows a former gang member who is now a social activist.

The film, part a series called "Andrew Young Presents," is expected to begin airing Nov. 2 on TV stations around the country.

"Violence would still be around without guns," T.I. said to over 400 attendees during a question-and-answer session after the screening. "But there would be an increased value of life."

T.I. has really been all about the community service hasn't he!

R.I.P - Merl Saunders

Keyboardist Merl Saunders, who had a long-term collaboration with Jerry Garcia and the Grateful Dead, has died at the age of 74 from complications after suffering a stroke six years ago, his family said.

"Merl Saunders stood for music and love - his smile alone told you that," said the statement.

"He was a special man, a beautiful companion, father, grandfather, and family patriarch, and the proof of that spirit is in the way you've reached out to us at his passing."

Jennifer Hudson offers $100,000 for her missing nephew

Jennifer Hudson and her family offered a $100,000 reward Sunday for the safe return of her missing nephew.

In a statement Sunday evening from publicist Lisa Kasteler, Jennifer Hudson appealed to the public for its help, offering the reward and asking that any information be given to Chicago police.

"Jennifer and her family appreciate the enormous amount of love, support and prayers they have received while she and her family try to cope with this tragedy and continue the search for Julian," the statement said.

Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller having twins

Charlie Sheen and Brooke Muller are expecting twins...a boy and a boy! They are expected to be born next spring.

I'm truly blessed," Sheen said. "I'm already the proud father of three beautiful daughters, and I'm delighted that they'll now have two little brothers. Life doesn't get any better than this."

Jennifer Hudson blogs for help for her nephew

Jennifer always spoke about her mom, how close they were and how much of a ‘big sister’ role her mom played in her life. I can’t imagine what she is going through. I hope everybody gives Jennifer her space to deal with this because I know how much they will be missed by her. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Jennifer and we are here for you.”

Amy Poehler gives birth!

Amy Poehler gave birth a few hours before she was supposed to do SNL last night.

She was missing from her spot alongside Seth Myers on "Weekend Update."

On behalf of Poehler and her husband, Will Arnett, "I can confirm that Amy gave birth to Archie Arnett on Saturday," read a statement from Poehler's spokesman, Lewis Kay.

The baby was born early Saturday evening in New York, weighing 8 pounds, 1 ounce.

Mother and child were "healthy and resting comfortably," according to the statement.

Congrats Amy!!!!

Four men 'slashed' outside Saw V movie in Times Square

Seriously people?? In Times Square outside a theater showing "Saw V," four young men were stabbed or slashed.

Dozens of anxious moviegoers packed the AMC Empire 25 on famed 42nd St. on the opening night of the horror movie, which was showing every 30 minutes on seven screens.

Tension built after swarms of teens and young adults were trying to exit and enter theaters, including disappointed groups who couldn't get into sold-out shows.

"It seemed like hundreds of kids, roaming around in packs, screaming, yelling, running through the streets like wild animals," said Greg Wolf of Manhattan.

Joseph Carmona, 25, was stabbed in the neck and rushed to Bellevue, where hospital officials said he was in critical. Jorge Borges and Sam Noel, both 22, were also slashed in the neck and at Bellevue, cops said. A hospital spokeswoman reported Borges also in critical but had no record of Noel, who cops said was stable. The fighting spread all the way to W. 39th St., where emergency workers found Josiah Batiste with a slashed neck.

Four men were arrested in the brawl. George Lawrence, 21, of Queens and Shalik Jenkins, 18, of the Bronx were charged with second-degree assault. Lawrence's mother said her son is no troublemaker. "He was probably in a position where he had to defend himself," said Valerie Bridgers, 38. "He was probably fighting for his life."

Come on people...get it together. This is way too ridiculous.

Robin Roberts honored for her courage

ABC's "Good Morning America" co-anchor Robin Roberts was honored in Buffalo, New York for sharing her cancer treatment experience with millions of television viewers.

She was given the 2008 Roswell Park Cancer Institute's Gilda Radner Courage Award today.

The award is named for the late comedian and recognizes cancer patients whose public battles offer hope and raise awareness of the disease.

Roberts found out she had breast cancer in 2007.

Women, breast cancer is a huge killer for us all, so make sure you get checked out and tell anyone you care about to do so as well.

Julia Hudson speaks and pleads for her son

At their church, Julia Hudson pleaded for the safe return of her 7-year-old son, Julian, on Saturday, a day after the siblings' mother and brother were found shot to death at the family home in the Englewood neighborhood.

"I don't care who you are, just let the baby go," Julia Hudson said to a crowd from the podium of the Pleasant Gift Missionary Baptist Church with the boy's father, Greg King, at her side.

"I know he's out there," she pleaded. "Just let him go. Put him on the side of the street. He'll sit there. Somebody will see him. He'll probably cry until somebody comes along."

"My greatest fear has already happened," Julia Hudson said. "My greatest hope is finding my child."

The FBI have been called in to officially assist in helping find Julian.

Julia Hudson said that her famous sister was in Chicago on Saturday, a day after she called her in hysterics. Jennifer Hudson's fiance, who answered the phone, couldn't understand Julia Hudson and handed the phone to Jennifer.

"Despite her being who she is, she is still my sister," Julia Hudson said. "She understood what I was saying. She was screaming. She flew in right away, and we've been together since. We're all still in a state of shock. I don't know nothing else to do but pray."

William Balfour's mother, Michele Balfour, said that her son had been married to Julia Hudson for several years, but that they were separated. She also said Donerson had ordered him to move out of the home last winter. Michele Balfour told reporters that she offered her condolences to the family and denied her son had any involvement.

"All I want is for my son to come home," she said.
