Paris Hilton trying to sing...again :(

Why does she insist on singing? Just because you have unlimited amounts of money doesn't mean you waste it on a horrible singing career. Why torture us!?

In a lame attempt to coincide with her new reality show, "Paris Hilton's My New BFF," she will be releasing her single the same day the show airs. What's hew new single called? "My BFF" - how lame!

What's worse are the lyrics: "Could you be the one I want? Could you be the one I need? All of my life, don't you know I've been waiting ... for my best friend."

Is she trying to sleep with her best friend!? There is a huge sex vibe in that...and in everything else she does.

Hilton co-wrote with her boyfriend Benji Madden, of Good Charlotte. How predictably lame. The tune will become her show's theme song. Even more predicatably lame.

Hilton, 27, said loyalty was key to her friendships -- both in real life and in the series. "I am looking for someone I can trust, someone who is friends with me for the right reason," she told Reuters.

Yes, because you are going to find a "true" friend with you for the "right" reasons via reality tv show.

"A lot of girls want to be photographed with me. They get so excited when the paparazzi are around and put their arms around me. I don't like friends who try to use friends like that," she said.

Then why put them on a tv show LOL.

Hilton says she has struck up a real, off screen friendship with the winner of the reality show but the name is being kept secret until the series ends in December. Already, Hilton is working on a second series of "My New BFF," this time set in London.

HAHAHAHA, aren't best friends one of a kind, hence "best." What a freaking joke. Please fade away like your sister.

Hasselbeck to go to FOX?

Elizabeth Hasselbeck, from The View, is reportedly "really upset" about how politics are going down on the show.

She feels overshadowed by Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg when trying to voice her opinions. It's no secret she is a Republican and everyone else on the show are Democrats.

It kills me that they give her such a rough time. The whole point of that show is to hear different views, but the minute someone thinks something different from the rest, especially Barbara, they get their panties in a bunch (yes I can say that because I'm a woman!).

A "View" staff member told the Chicago Sun-Times that things aren't as bad as they were when Rosie O'Donnell was on the show. Still, it's bad enough that Walters had to set up a "cooling off" meeting for her ladies.

Rumor has it that Elisabeth may even be leaving "The View" to host her own program on the FOX News Channel, where she can be with her own "kind."

I hope this isn't true. I love Elisabeth on the View. I would never even care about that show if it weren't for her. I may disagree with her opinions, but I love hearing them. She's very entertaining - in a good way, not a degrading way.

Despite all odds, Katie Holmes has managed to revive her career. She seems to be doing better than her husband Tom Cruise!!

Her broadway show did great. She is now going to be on an upcoming episode of Eli Stone - October 21st to be exact.

She will be playing an attorney, but from the looks of the photo to the left, she's getting sultry!

DJ AM attends Baker's funeral service

DJ AM attended the funeral service of Chris "Lil' Chris" Baker on Monday in LA. In the photo to the right, you can see some of DJ AM's burn wounds/bandages.

More than 300 people turned out to honor Baker. Baker was a close friend and assistant to Travis Barker.

Baker is survived by his wife, Otillia Villar, and 2-year-old son, Sebastian.

Goldstein, dressed in a green polo shirt, followed Villar's request that people wear green – Baker's favorite color – to honor her husband's memory.

Salma Hayek with her Ex?

I highly doubt this story is true, but People is reporting that Salma Hayek may be getting back together with her ex, and daughter's father, Francois-Henri Pinault.

They were spotted at the Balenciaga fashion show in Paris Tuesday morning.

I'm skeptical because someone saw them and said, ""[They were] very friendly together, looking happy," said one attendee. "They weren't holding hands but were definitely side by side."

Others say she was spotted introducing her daughter, Valentina Paloma, to her ex's relatives and that she was being friendly.

Well what is she going to do? Kick and scream and be immature? It just sounds like she was there for a fashion show and thought it would be nice if her daughter's father's side of the family could see Valentina.

So, no...I don't think they are getting back together. But it's nice to see them getting along.

More trouble for Ed McMahon

Ed McMahon is being sued by yet another company.

He just can't catch a break...or maybe he should live within his means.

Court documents show a company founded by Merv Griffin is suing Ed McMahon for a $100,000 loan it claims has gone unpaid.

The Griffin Group Inc. claims it loaned the money to McMahon, Johnny Carson's sidekick on the "Tonight" show, in 2005. The company filed the suit on Thursday and states that none of the loan has been repaid.

Damn...they must of heard about your new rapping career, and they want their money!!

Janet Jackson rushed to hospital

Janet Jackson was rushed to the hospital shortly before she was suppose to perform. She had to cancel her Montreal concert because of this.

According to her PR rep, Jackson is being monitored at the hospital and hopes to reschedule the show. No further information was given about Jackson's condition.

Britney Spears and a world tour in the works

According to Britney Spears, in a recent interview with New York's Z100, a world tour is in the works for next year.

I hear money, money, money...money!

During her interview, she discussed her new single "Womanizer."

"It's basically saying, 'We know what you're up to.' It's about guys cheating on girls. It's a girl anthem. That's why I like it."

Britney has really been keeping on the straight and narrow. It's nice to see her doing positive things for herself. It's also nice to know she is thinking clearly. Regarding her ridiculous wins at the MTV Video Music awards (which was purely a publicity stunt on MTV's part):

"It's a cool video, but I think by far I've done videos that are way better, so I was really shocked that it got the award," she said. "It was just inspiring, though, because now, going forward with the videos that I'm doing now, I can really go there and do something crazy and see what happens."

Valerie Bertinelli writes second book

According to ET Online, following the release earlier this year of her No. 1 bestseller "Losing It," actress Valerie Bertinelli has inked a deal to publish a second book entitled "Finding It."

In the latest book, set to be released by Free Press in November 2009, the 48-year-old Bertinelli deals with her "conflicted, humorous and highly personal tale of her search for answers to life's big questions," a press release said.

The actress, who publicly dropped 40 pounds for a campaign for weight loss company Jenny Craig, will document the lessons learned about the courage it takes to make such a profound change in her life, as well as the faith required to maintain it, according to the publisher.

Valerie definitely looks beautiful, and I hope she keeps it up.

Travis Barker released from Hospital

After being in a fiery plane crash over a week ago, Travis Barker was finally released from the hospital this morning.

Barker suffered burn wounds from the accident.

I am glad to see he is doing much better!!

JayZ getting sued

It's being reported that JayZ is getting sued over his "I Will Not Lose" campaign for Rocawear.

Despite the fact that JayZ sold his clothing line, there are claims that he still contributes from a marketing stand point.

A company called I Will Not Lose, LLC tried to settle the matter out of court, but were continously ignored.

Everybody seems to be suing JayZ these days.

Dennis Quaid responds to Meg Ryan

Recently, Meg Ryan spoke about her divorce to Denni Quaid. In the interview, she spoke about how he cheated on her numerous times.

Dennis Quaid finds it "unbelievable" that his ex-wife would talk about it.

"It was eight years ago," he tells Rush & Molloy of the New York Daily News. "I find it unbelievable that Meg continues publicly to rehash and rewrite the story of our relationship."

Honestly, I didn't even know he cheated on her because I have never heard her talk about it!

He adds that he find it "regrettable that our son, Jack, has to be reminded in a public way of the turmoil and pain that every child feels in a divorce."

If that's the case, why are you furthering it by commenting on the situation!?

The actor, who has since remarried, says "I, myself, moved on years ago and am fortunate to have a happy, beautiful family."

If you haven't already heard, Heather Locklear was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence Saturday evening in Santa Barbara County, Calif.

The media is acting like this is the story of the century!? Her mugshot does look hilarious though.

"Around 4:30 p.m., a female witness saw Heather Locklear driving erratically while leaving a parking lot in Montecito," California Highway Patrol spokesman Tom Marshall tells People.

"The witness said Locklear was revving her engine loudly, and backed over a pair of sunglasses several times."

Soon after, the witness – who apparently didn't recognize the actress – spotted Locklear, 47, stopped on a nearby highway, exiting her vehicle.

"The witness called 911 because she was concerned for Locklear's safety," Marshall said. "When a CHP officer arrived, Locklear was found seated inside her vehicle, which was partially blocking the roadway."

Because Locklear appeared "disoriented and impaired," she was taken to a local CHP station and drug and alcohol tests were administered, Marshall said.

"Alcohol was ruled out as a factor, but based on the officer's observations, we believe Locklear was under the influence of prescription medication," Marshall added.

We hope this doesn't have something to do with her depression. A couple of months ago she was treated at a facility for it, and the "drugs" the cops may be speaking about may be her anti-depression meds.

The drama continues with Project Runway

The reality fashion show "Project Runway" will not be airing on the Lifetime TV channel, a judge ruled Friday.

A preliminary injunction was ordered by New York Supreme Court Justice Richard B. Lowe in a lawsuit filed by NBC Universal against the Weinstein Co., which produces the hit reality series hosted by supermodel Heidi Klum.

NBC Universal had aired the series on its Bravo channel. It sued Weinstein after the production company made a reported $150 million deal with Lifetime for the show.

The temporary injunction bars Weinstein from taking "Project Runway" or any spinoff to Lifetime and contended that evidence showed that Weinstein violated NBC's "right of first refusal" for the show.

Lifetime said it was disappointed with the ruling and that it will "pursue all measures" to uphold its agreement with Weinstein for the show's sixth season.

In its lawsuit, NBC alleged that Weinstein moved "Project Runway" because NBC balked at the attempt to bundle the series with other Weinstein properties that NBC wasn't interested in.
Weinstein said that there was no right of first refusal in the contract and that NBC Universal was offered the deal and was outbid.

I feel like all this "buzz" and "fighting" is hurting the show. It's too much drama for a show like this. In the end, I don't really care.

Superbowl halftime show: The Boss

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will perform at this year's Super Bowl halftime show in Tampa, Florida.

No disrepect to the Boss, but I am tired of the NFL trying to play it safe. Ever since the Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake "incident," the networks and NFL are afraid to approach young, top 40 artists to play halftime shows. It's getting ridiculous.

In the last few years these have been the performers in order: Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Prince, The Rolling Stones and Paul McCartney.

Haven't they punished the viewers enough!?

Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds marry in Canada

Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds went and got married in Canada this weekend. Maybe all of those rumours about them having trouble were false after all.

The small wedding took place at a resort outside Vancouver, British Columbia.

The couple announced their engagement in May.

Congrats to the happy couple! How many of you think this will last? I kind of think they will!!

Heath Ledger's daughter to receive estate

In a somewhat surprising twist, Heath Ledger's father told the media that Ledger's daughter, Matilda Rose, will inherit all of her father's estate.

Originally, Heath had left everything to his parents and three sisters.

But Ledger's father, Kim Ledger, told the Australian newspaper The Sunday Times that the family had given all the money to 2-year-old Matilda and that there had been no challenge from Williams.

Does Ledger's family feel guilty after his Batman co-stars decided to give their money to Matilda!?

Jermaine Dupri is Barker's new publicist

Ok, I am only joking...but...sorta. Jermaine Dupri recently visited Travis Barker at the hospital to see how he was doing. He told the media that:

"He's doing good, he's gonna be all right. He's just got a lot of healing to do," Dupri told People.

"He's supposed to send a message out to everybody in a couple of days to let everyone know that's he's feeling better. He's definitely feeling the love from everyone."

"He's just now getting everything in the hospital set up for him—iPods, computers, everything that he needs," Dupri added. "You got to make sure he is comfortable."

"He's in good spirits," Dupri added to OK! magazine. "He's gonna be on iChat in like two days, so he's going to send you all a message."

Dupri should open up a PR firm!

A new batman for the justice league

In the Dark Knight, Christian Bale played Batman. But in the new upcoming Justice League flick, Bale is out and Hammer is in.

Armie Hammer, an unknown actor handpicked by director George Miller, will be playing Bruce Wayne and his Caped Crusader alter ego in the upcoming flick Justice League Mortal.

Hammer insists he has not intention of stirring up a battle of the Batmans. "That guy's got his s--t down," Hammer says of Bale.

While there have been reports that the Justice League flick has been shelved because of too many setbacks, Hammer says he hopes to see it get made

They were supposed to shoot in Australia, where Hammer and his castmates suffered through several months of physical training.

"I would spend hours training with actual guns to prepare me for this stuff," Hammer said. "It was very intense. Our workout regimens were so rigorous that most of us would vomit."

I hope he's getting paid well!!

She has recorded a series of phone messages that amount to an urgent wake-up call for women: Help yourself fight breast cancer.

The messages, which can be delivered by online request, are intended to nudge women to take steps to check for the disease that is the second-most lethal kind of cancer in women after lung cancers.

"I went into a studio and recorded a million different (versions): `Hi, this is Ellen DeGeneres and your sister told me to remind you that it's Breast Cancer Awareness Month,' `Your teacher told me to call you,' 'Your neighbor told me to call you,' `Your cousin,' `Your mother.'"

DeGeneres, who was asked by vitamin maker One A Day to join the company's campaign that started Thursday, said she finds an anti-breast cancer program to support each year. One A Day also is donating money to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

"My mom, 30 years ago, had a mastectomy. It's changed my life because I'm highly aware I'm vulnerable to this disease and I get a mammogram every year," DeGeneres said.

DeGeneres plans to devote time to the issue on her talk show, "Ellen," with celebrities who have been affected by breast cancer to appear. As part of the phone message campaign, "Ellen" is inviting women to tell their own breast-cancer stories for possible use on the show.

Artist Jonathan Yeo is known for making a controversial piece of art: a portrait of George Bush made out of photography.

Yeo has made another portrait in the same way, except this one is of Paris. Yes, because what we all need is another picture of her.

The portrait is titled "Paris, 2008."

Even more ridiculous than making a portrait of Paris, is giving her a part of the proceeds from replica posters that will be sold at the gallery exhibit, today.

Yeo's reasoning for giving Paris a part of the proceeds is because she never received any money from the notorious 2004 sex video that starred her and then-boyfriend Rick Salomon.

Yes, because Paris needs more money.

Busta is Free

A British High Court judge ordered the immediate release of US rapper Busta Rhymes after he was detained by immigration officials at London City Airport Thursday.

Rhymes arrived in Britain to play a charity concert for 5,000 young volunteers at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Friday.

The charity event's organisers, mobile phone firm Ornage, said the rapper had been detained at the airport because he did not have permission to work in Britain due to his criminal record, though they insist he has a valid work permit.

Ludacris had been added to the performance following Busta Rhymes' detention.

Personally, I would have preferred to see Ludacris!! But hey, it's for charity right? So kudos to both.

More garbage from David Blaine

"I had dreamed up the most amazing ending for a stunt ever," he said.

Sure he did....

Blaine said his grand finale of diving from a platform 44 feet to the ground while attached to a harness didn't go according to plan. He was supposed to jump and, at 10 feet, be swept away by a bunch of helium-filled balloons.

Instead, he dangled awkwardly for a moment before disappearing in an ascent into the night sky.

I saw no balloons in any youtube video....

Blaine said ABC, which aired the event in a two-hour special called "David Blaine: Dive of Death," had encouraged him not to dive because of high winds.

"I wasn't going to let everybody down, so I just jumped, and somehow the guys with the balloons made it work, and they pulled me slowly up and I went over into the park and they pulled me down," he said.

How is that working exactly...

Blaine added: "I know that it didn't work right when all my friends called up and said, `Wait, what happened? I'm confused.'"

"At the end of the first day I thought I wasn't going to make it. I didn't know what I was going to do, but I didn't want to disappoint everybody, so I kept pushing and going as hard as I could."

Sorry to tell you, but you dissapointed everyone when you kept taking those hourly breaks that were actually 3+ breaks an hour.

Shakira going global

Shakira, a longtime activist for Latin American's poor children, plans to make her Colombian children's foundation a global one in the near future.

Shakira said Barefoot, known as Pies Descalzos in her native Colombia, will start focusing on children worldwide later this year.

"We have a model that works. Under less than $2 a day, we can provide a kid with top quality education and the nutrition that they need to be able to function and be able to learn because a kid with an empty stomach cannot learn," said Shakira.

"So this model that has been so successful in my country, now I want to bring it to other countries in my small way."

And if you don't think Shakira has a big heart for those efforts, she's got more for you!

Shakira is a member of Latin America in Solidarity Action (the Spanish acronym is ALAS, or "wings"), a nonprofit coalition founded by Latin American artists, intellectuals and business leaders to promote social communities and early childhood development programs in Latin America. Earlier this year, ALAS held all-star fundraising concerts in Mexico and Argentina that helped secure $200 million in donations.

"I belong to a generation that is learning new ways to get involved in these issues. We are not a passive generation, we're very proactive," Shakira said. "We want to see all those brutal contrasts in our world disappear, we want to see poverty eliminated because we believe it is possible."

I Am Legend - The Prequel

I was wondering if they were going to do this. Warner Brothers is going to be coming out with a prequel to "I Am Legend."

How much story could they possibly tell? I watched the movie wishing they gave a bit more background info on what led up to that point, but to devote that to a whole other film seems a bit much.

The plan is for Smith to reprise his role as scientist Robert Neville. The prequel will chronicle the final days of humanity in New York before a man-made virus caused a plague that left Smith’s character the lone survivor among a mutated mob in the city.

Ugly Betty's Ana Ortiz is speaking out about domestic violence in honor of National Domestic Awareness Month. She revealed to ET that she was once a victim of domestic violence. She spoke of an abusive relationship she had in her twenties in which her boyfriend started choking her in public.

"It was just the most awful feeling, and terrifying and humiliating," Ana says.

What's worse than falling on stage? Falling on stage while being pregnant! Gillian Anderson, who is pregnant with her third child, fell on stage at the London premiere of "How to Lose Friends and Alienate People."

Director Robert Weide joked that Anderson going into labor that night would be great publicity.

Anderson then went on stage and threw a fake punch at Weide. She ended up losing her balance and falling to the ground.

After making sure she was fine, Weide joked, "Is there a lawyer in the house?"

Another rapper has a house fire

Late Wednesday night, a fire broke out and destroyed Ludacris' poolhouse! Not the poolhouse!!

Thankfully, no one was hurt in the fire. Fulton County Fire Department spokesman Gregory Chambers says a relative was in the basement of the main residence when the fire started. Ludacris was not home.

The cause has not been identified.

Johnny Depp is the Mad Hatter

Johnny Depp will be playing the Mad Hatter in Tim Burton's new upcoming film, "Alice in Wonderland."

He's amazing at the crazy roles!
